Mills Apple Farm is open seasonally from mid-July to December of each year.

Pumpkin Tours:
We also do Pumpkin Tours, which include a wagon ride to the pumpkin patch. Each child will be able to choose a small pumpkin to take home.

Private Group Hayrides and Bonfires:
We offer a 45 minute hayride pulled by a tractor here on the farm. We don't go out on any roads. While you're out, we light a campfire so that when you return it will be burning down to coals suitable for cooking hotdogs and roasting marshmallows. The fire burns about an hour.

Train Rides:
Any child who has ever wanted to drive a train will have that chance on weekends, when the train is available. Contact us to know the availability.

 

From St. Louis, follow I-70 east to exit 21 (Illinois Rt. 4). Take Rt. 4 north to Illinois Rt. 143. Take Rt. 143 east at the flashing light into Marine. Turn left (north) at the flashing light in town onto Duncan Street. At the north edge of town, turn right (east) onto Pocahontas Road. Mills Apple Farm is located 3 miles from Marine on the left hand (north) side of the road. Watch for the blue tourist signs as you come through Marine. They will help get you here.
